Vacation Joy
How to get the most out of your summer
… is what I am trying to figure out. I have a whole blank notebook that I’ve used for visioning and dreaming, with the goal that THIS summer will be the one where I actually have a **summer vacation** that relaxes, refreshes and rejuvenates.

(note the extremely high quality hand lettering and graphic design).
After much intensive work on what I actually want to do on my remaining almost 2 weeks of actual vacation (plus a series of long weekends), I’ve identified the following:
Make and drink yummy cold things (creamsicle smoothies! iced chai lattes!)
Read!
Get in the water: lakes, rivers, and the cold, refreshing ocean
Light gardening (as in: not hard)
Pick some flowers and put them around the house
Make some areas of the house more beautiful (or at least decluttered)
Get back to my languishing weaving project (two scarfs on one warp)
Write… when inspired
Wishing you all rest, rejuvenation and more summer joy to fill the many more weeks we have left. I’d love to hear any inspiration you have for enjoying this time of year.
I’m looking forward to connecting again in fall when I dive back into work, writing, and the rhythms of the school year.
